Where are you located?
Cakes By HollyK is a private, home-based cake studio. I am permitted by the County of Orange Health Department as a Cottage Food Operation to bake/sell from my home. Cakes By HollyK is a fully licensed and insured business.
How far in advance to I need to place my order?
Every cake I make is custom and made-to-order. Therefore, all orders must be placed (meaning order contract is signed & deposit is paid) a minimum of one week in advance. I normally book up approx. one month in advance or more during wedding season (May - September).
Do you deliver?
Yes! I proudly delivery throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. My delivery fee is based on distance from my kitchen and complexity of the set-up. Set-up includes stacking the cakes (if I have delivered the cake or any portion of it un-stacked), applying any of the final flowers and/or decorations, touching up any imperfections that may have arose during transport, and finally, placing the cake as directed by you, your event planner and/or venue.
Do candles come with the cake?
No, at this time I do not provide candles with any cake that is picked up or delivered. Special arrangements can be made and will need to be noted in the order contract.
