Order Lead Time

All orders must be placed (order contract signed/deposit paid) a minimum of one week in advance.

​It's best to contact me at least 2 weeks ahead of your event (at least a month for wedding cakes, depending on the size).  I make everything custom & on-demand.  I do not have anything pre-made for same-day pickups.  

Food Allergies

All cakes may contain or come into contact with dairy, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. 

Depictions of Violence

I reserve the right to refuse any orders for cakes that depict any act of violence, promotion of violence, or use of violent weapons.  This includes, but is not limited to, video games such as Fortnite and Call of Duty. 

Delivery & Setup

Delivery is only available for Wedding and Cultural & Religious Coming of Age Cakes. Unfortunately I can no longer offer delivery for Party Cakes.  Delivery is available throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. 

Pick-Up

Party cake pickups are available between 9am - Noon on Saturdays and Sundays. Special arrangements can be made for pickups on weekdays.

Once your cake is picked up by you, or your representative, the cake has been considered accepted & approved.

A transportation cake box will be provided, however Cakes By HollyK cannot be held responsible for anything that should happen to the cake once it has been picked up by you or your representative. Please note that direct sunlight and temperatures of 75°F and higher may have drastic and adverse effect on any cake.

Design Sketches

One initial design sketch will be provided prior to making a deposit.  Two rounds of edits to the sketch will only be provided after the deposit is paid.  Larger cake orders may include additional rounds of edits, the customer will be notified as such.  Additional charges will apply if edits are requested beyond the included amount (within reason and at my sole discretion).  The final sketch/design may change the price of the cake - up or down.  The change of price will be reflected in the final invoice. 

Deposits

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required for all cakes at time of order to reserve the date.

Final Payment

Payment of the remaining balance is required at time of pick-up or delivery for party cakes and one month prior for weddings and Coming of Age cakes. Payment methods accepted include cash and major credit cards (sorry, no personal checks).
