Long Beach will always be my home and have my heart. I'm so sad to leave, but I'm doing so for a very good reason ... I bought a house! I'm not moving far - just to Westminster - only 10 minutes down the 405 or a quick jaunt down PCH. The house I bought was my grandmother's, which she purchased in 1989 and lived in until she passed away in 2016. The opportunity to purchase her house and renovate - and build my dream kitchen - was an opportunity that was too good to pass up. I'm still in construction zone, but it's starting to come together. |
It all started with a bit of a time warp, but as they say, they house has good bones. See below for a little trip back to the 1970 in the "before" photos ... I'm working with an amazing contractor, if you're considering any work on your house I would give Neighbors Construction my highest recommendation! It has been an overwhelming and surreal and exciting process redesigning this house, I keep having to pinch myself. I'm living in a construction zone right now, but this is how it's coming along! Construction should be done in a couple weeks, I'll post the final photos when that happens! Until then, stay tuned :)

Sooo happy for you Holly! I remember 1 holiday party in that house. I'm sure it will be fabulous when you finish updating it. I can't wait to see the photos. I will need your new address please. Love you!
